A new day, a new store

I've been selling on ebay for several years now and love it. Being able to keep all my creations listed without spending hours editing and relisting items each week. But after the recent changes ebay has announced, I'm not sure I will keep it open anymore. I will have to wait and see what happens in the next couple of months before making that final decision.

On a good note, the announcement led me to search for other ways to sell my boutique clothing. I found an awesome site, Etsy! I have already listed a few items and will continue to fill my store there with clothing as I make it. Etsy is every crafter/sewer's dream. A place for only handcrafted items and supplies. I am looking forward to this new adventure and can't wait to see where it leads.

A new thing for me!

Well this is a first for me....blogging! I've read a lot of different blogs but never maintained one myself. I'll probably make a lot of mistakes as I learn so bear with me.

Crafting is a passion for me. Sewing is the biggest passion but I also love to work with polymer clay and beads. My son and I are learning how to create beads from clay as well as animals and people. My 10 year old has much more talent at crafting with clay than I!

Here is one of the dresses I've been working on for my spring line of clothing. The picture is kind of dark, hopefully the weather will warm up enough to take things outside for photos.
